At UCN, We Take Action

Throughout its history, Unitarian Church of Norfolk has been a strong voice for justice. In the ’50s and ’60s, UCN members were at the forefront of the fight to end segregation and the Jim Crow laws. Today, UCN members are active in LGBTQ rights, and marriage equality and, through the Social Justice Committee, remain engaged in homeless issues, affordable housing, access to healthcare, and environmental protection.
